A Beach House At The Junction Between Antique And Modern

When designing this beach house on Whidbey Isle in Isle State, Washington, Soli Terry Architects had to respond to i major asking regarding the design. The team had to combine modern elements with antiquities. The challenge was not as difficult equally you might think. Equally it turns out, these two styles are quite compatible.

The interior blueprint of the firm is very fresh, bright and blusterous. White is the primary color used throughout the business firm but shades of bluish also play an important office. The large windows and openings contribute to the informal temper present in all the rooms of the house.

This unusual combination of styles is a very inspired one in this case. The manner mod pieces interact with antiques is very harmonious. Elements such as a vintage armchair, a clawfoot tub or an antiquarian chandelier complement modern pieces of piece of furniture and accessories and the result is not necessarily a contrasting await.
